There are 45 lesson weeks in our year and all events and performances are free.
Auto pay is required to sign up for lessons.
Dear Seguin Music Shed Families,
Welcome! We are so glad you are here. Registering for lessons is an agreement to our policies, so please read through them carefully.
Studio Lesson Schedule:
Our Music Shed calendar contains 45 learning experiences throughout the year. Lessons are held weekly, year-round, unless otherwise specified on the studio calendar. Studio breaks have already been accounted for in the cost of yearly tuition. We are also excited to announce:
BONUS EVENTS: Band Jams, Flash Card Tournaments, drum circles and other events will help students focus on specific skills and goals throughout the year. These events are free of charge. You will receive notification of these events via email. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
BONUS SUMMER LESSONS: During the summer months, bonus lesson spots will be made available to all currently enrolled students on a first-come, first-served basis. This is a great time to receive as many lesson as possible at no additional cost.
Registration Fee:
Non Refundable
Annual Materials/Registration fee: $50. This fee will be charged to your account annually on the anniversary of your original registration date. New/Returning Student Fee $25. This fee is charged to new students and students re-registering after a break.
Tuition:
Annual tuition covers 45 learning experiences and BONUS ACTIVITIES / SUMMER LESSONS, and is divided into 12 equal installments of $130/mo. This amount remains the same regardless of the number of lessons taught in the month.
Payment:
Each Family must enter their payment information into the My Music Staff (MMS) account. Tuition amount will be withdrawn via automatic payments on the 1st of each month. A convenience fee for all credit/debit card transactions will be applied. No convenience fees will be applied to automatic checking withdrawals (ACH). We are not able to accept any other payment types. A late fee of $20 will be applied to any accounts 10 days past due.
Discontinuing Lessons:
If you need to withdraw for any reason, notice must be given in writing to lessons@seguinmusicshed.com, 30 days prior to the next billing cycle. (i.e. If you choose to withdraw in February, notice must be given by January 1st)
Attendance/Make-Up Lessons:
Your lesson time is reserved just for you. If you need to withdraw for any reason,
we kindly ask that you cancel your lesson on your My Music Staff account. Then feel free to signup for bonus events throughout the year! Our full schedule simply does not allow for make-up lessons to be provided. If a teacher is unable to provide a scheduled lesson, at the management’s discretion, a substitute teacher will be provided or a make-up lesson will be offered.
Media/Photo Release:
We love to celebrate our students’ smiles and successes. By agreeing to our policies, you hereby give permission for Seguin Music Shed to use photographs/videos of your child for marketing or on our social media sites. No last names or identifying information of your child will be shared.
Injuries:
By agreeing to these policies, you hereby wave the right of any legal action for any injuries sustained on the premises of Seguin Music Shed.
